I was continuously being blinded by the sun until I took my pickup truck to 979 Tint. I had them install a strip of tint across the top of the windshield. The price was very affordable and it looks great!
I returned a week later and had 979 do their Premier ceramic coating to my truck. It looks excellent!
The guys at 979 Tint are friendly and do an excellent job. The prices are also very good as I compared with at least five other shops that were mostly overpriced. You can't beat the price and quality of work done here. Highly recommended and will be returning with the girlfriend's car next.

I was looking for a place to do ceramic coating for my company car, and I was getting really terrible estimates from all over the place. Finally, someone on Reddit recommended 979, and I decided to reach out to them. My request was answered promptly, and I went to the shop. I also decided to get the windows tinted while I was at it. I was lucky enough to get a same day appointment, and they had me in and out in no time. When I got there I wasn't quite sure how dark I wanted so the owner Jim brought me to the back and showed me the options, and compared with some other vehicles they had in the shop. They were very pleasant, and wow, this looks to be the highest quality tint I've had on a vehicle. After a week now the job seems to be flawless. Not a bubble or wrinkle to be found 👍 highly recommend this place!

In just 3 short years, her headlights and Honda emblem had faded and had a haze/oxidation about them and made the front of her vehicle look horrible.
We took it to 979 TINT where Jim and his crew went to work, sanding all of her lights and Honda emblem, getting them looking like new again. They then applied a paint protection film to protect them from any further oxidation. The front of her vehicle looks new again!
I highly recommend these guys. They do headlight restoration and also do the paint protection film to the body of the vehicle to prevent rock chips, paint fading etc.

How Does Paint Protection Work?
Paint protection film will be applied all over your car to keep the paint looking new and fresh for longer. Since the industry has evolved to make paint protection better and better over the years, it no longer turns yellow quickly after application. If applied properly, it won’t make the car look dull and you shouldn’t be able to see the film in your car.
It’s applied with heat, so it can cover swirls and scratches to leave your paint glossy and shiny for a long time. It’s not completely bulletproof proof though, much like any film or protection you might put on your car.
The protection paint will absorb impact and preserve the paint from rock chips. Remember your car can still be punctured though although the paint will take the blunt force of the impact from whatever might hit your car. The damage to the car will be much lower than if your car didn’t have it
Why Paint Protection Is A Solid Investment For Your Car Or Truck
This really depends on your car and how much money and effort you want to put into protecting it. If you want your car to have minimal damage and be able to sell it later in life for a good value, you will need to keep the car in pristine condition.
This includes putting a paint protection film on it. The film will prevent rock chips, pitting, scrapes, and scratches. This will preserve the value of your car. When you go to sell your car, it might even score in the excellent category on the KBB scale. This means your resale value will be 10-15% higher than if it was in the very good or good category.
Here are some things to ask yourself when considering spending the money on paint protection film:
- What is my car worth?
- Do swirls and scratches drive me crazy if they were to happen?
